Agilent G2565CA Microarray Scanner

Microarray platform is a fully functional set of devices necessary for gene expression analysis.

This platform is built of chamber and hybridization oven, microarray scanner and specialized software that all together allow to perform different stages of experiment, starting from the preparation of the microarray to scanning and finishing on data (image) analysis. The main unit is a high-performance microarray scanner, the Agilent Microarray Scanner G2565CA. The use of lasers and detectors system allows simultaneous scanning and reading signals from two days (fluorescence). High-resolution imaging (2, 3, 5 and 10 µm) enables users to scan a range of array types from high density commercial arrays to low-density home-brew arrays. The dynamic range (6 orders of magnitude) of the scanner allows to obtain 16 and 20 bit image, thus the results are more accurate and precise.

Transcriptome or miRNA research will enter the next level due to the newest class of microarray scanner Agilent G2565CA Microarray Scanner. The high quality of the device, combined with a very high resolving power (2-10 µm) allow to analyze the expression of thousands of genes. The device can operate with all available microarrays printed on standard 25.4 mm x 76.2 mm slides, creating unlimited possibilities of analysis. In addition, the GeneSpring software allows a preliminary analysis of the results, which significantly facilitate big data handling. Microarray platform is also equipped with all necessary elements enabling preparation of microarrays for analysis, e.g., hybridization chambers, hybridization oven with hybridization Chamber Rotator Rack.
