Qubit® 3.0 Fluorometer

The Qubit 3.0 Fluorometer is the next generation benchtop fluorometer that accurately measures DNA, RNA, including microRNA and protein using dedicated Qubit quantitation assays.

The concentration of the nucleic acids or proteins is determined by detecting the signal emitted after binding of fluorescent dye with selected molecule - DNA, RNA, or protein in sample. It reduces the risk of contamination and detection of degraded nucleic acids.
Qubit 3.0 Fluorometer can assess the level of fluorescence of the nucleic acids in a stock/working solution prepared for qPCR assay or next-generation sequencing (NGS). In each assay a small amount of sample (only 1 µL) is needed for measurements. Additionally Qubit 3.0 Fluorometer automatically saves the results of more than 1,000 samples, which however can then be transferred to your PC using a USB drive.

More info on manufacturer’s website: Qubit® 3.0 Fluorometer

Qubit 3.0 Fluorometer is located at the DNA Lab (Room A22a)..
